Happy Hills Alpaca Farm

We are a small farm specializing in alpacas and other fiber animals , micro greens, mushrooms, kombucha and dried herbs.  We are a no slaughter farm and raise our animals very humanely, giving them lots of fresh local hay, top quality grain and of course, lots of TLC.  Our animals are all very friendly and tame and loved to be taken for walks. Val also offers classes in spinning, knitting, and felting with alpaca and mohair fiber. Once you get your hands on the fineness of alpaca, no other fiber will do.

Harlow’s Bake Shop

We specialize in homemade, organic, grain-free dog treats. Our bakery all started with our dog Harlow who has sensitivities to certain foods and treats. We created these recipes for her and she fell in love. We are now happy to share these tasty treats with dogs everywhere! Orders placed online can be picked up for free at the Waxhaw Farmer’s Market (208 N. Church St. Waxhaw, NC 28173) on Saturdays from 9:00 am-12:00 pm

Indulgence Candles

Hi, my name is Kelly Walsh. I am originally from Staten Island, NY but have been living in Waxhaw, NC for the past 4.5 years. I began making candles with my sister when we decided we wanted a safer, cleaner alternative for our addiction. We started making a few candles at a time and little by little grew it into a small business we named, Indulgence Candles. I have since taken over making the candles, she has taken over burning them in her home. At any given time, there are more than 150 scents to choose from. Soy candles burn slowly and clean and all of the fragrances are phthalate-free. All of the candles are made with love.

Fresh from our farm to the market, we offer delicious seasonal strawberries, and we’ve now added blueberries and blackberries to our offerings. The Ivy Place, nestled on 33 acres just south of Charlotte, is the perfect venue for outdoor weddings, receptions, garden parties, graduation celebrations and family reunions. The home was built in 1850 and provides outdoor elegance among the beautiful, peaceful gardens that allow you to express your own personal style.

Potters Market Farms was inspired by years of experience and passion for gardening, culinary arts, woodworking, beekeeping, and nature in general. We strive to provide produce for traditional and modern culinary trends. Our goal is to develop a sustainable farm using natural and healthy methods. We offer a large variety of vegetables grown during three seasons, as well as cut flowers and some fruit. Honey is available from the apiary when the bees can afford to part with it. We also offer custom small woodworking projects, with individual time frames and pricing.

Tea Leaves & Pages

Tea Leaves and Pages is focused on bringing high quality loose leaf organic teas to its customers. In order to promote a healthier lifestyle, and also to encourage peaceful moments. The kind where an individual relaxes in the pages of a good book, with a warm beverage as company.

The Freakin’ Pekin is a small family-based homestead, and you might meet Caroline or JJ at the Market! We started homesteading because we wanted to achieve a sustainable, natural lifestyle for our family of 4. We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, Pekin ducks, chickens, and a deaf herd dog, and have really blessed our lives with their fantastic personalities and endless love. We have supported our homestead for 3 years by making ultra-rich natural goat milk soaps and a few other natural care products. We incorporate our goat milk, herbs, and flowers from The Freakin’ Pekin, and only use natural ingredients. It’s always been important to us to provide a great natural product at a reasonable price.
