WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE
WAXHAW FARMERS MARKET
PET POLICY
No Pets Allowed: Properly Trained Service Animals Permitted
For the safety and comfort of all visitors, we kindly request that pets remain at home during your visit to WFM.
Our market can become quite crowded with people and products. By keeping the market pet-free, we create a safer, cleaner environment for everyone. Some visitors may feel uncomfortable around animals, and even well-behaved pets can inadvertently cause issues in our busy space. Additionally, health regulations require us to maintain proper food safety standards.
In accordance with state and federal laws, we permit service animals. Service animals are not considered pets, but are trained to perform a specific task to assist the disabled person. Under the American with Disabilities Act, service animals do not include therapy dogs, emotional support dogs or companion dogs. Click here for more information.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work to create an enjoyable experience for all market visitors!
