Hi, my name is Jenny Groening and my passion is to help people bring all-natural skin care into their lives. My goal is to keep the final cost of my product as low as possible by buying high quality ingredients in bulk, so that more people can afford this important component of a healthy lifestyle. I also love educating my customers and friends about the benefits of the essential oils I use in my products.
My husband was born and raised in Belgium, and my parents emigrated from Belgium to the USA shortly after they got married. So we both grew up eating Belgian food. As Belgian Americans, we are serious about waffles! Many people have enjoyed our waffles and have been telling us that we should have a waffle business. With much encouragement, we started “Belgian Waffles on Wheels”. We currently sell Belgian Waffles on Saturday mornings at the Waxhaw Farmers Market. We also have a food trailer so that we can bring authentic Belgian waffles to those around us. Our slogan is “Real Belgian Waffles made by Real Belgians!”

Hi, my name is Kelly Walsh. I am originally from Staten Island, NY but have been living in Waxhaw, NC for the past 5.5 years. I began making candles with my sister when we decided we wanted a safer, cleaner alternative for our addiction. We started making a few candles at a time and little by little grew it into a small business we named, Indulgence Candles. I have since taken over making the candles, she has taken over burning them in her home. At any given time, there are more than 150 scents to choose from. Soy candles burn slowly and clean and all of the fragrances are phthalate-free. All of the candles are made with love.

The Freakin' Pekin is a small family-based homestead, and you might meet Caroline or JJ at the Market! We started homesteading because we wanted to achieve a sustainable, natural lifestyle for our family of 4. We raise Nigerian Dwarf goats, Pekin ducks, chickens, and a deaf herd dog, and have really blessed our lives with their fantastic personalities and endless love. We have supported our homestead for 3 years by making ultra-rich natural goat milk soaps and a few other natural care products.
